2024 NFL Analytics and Projections
Find advanced stats, game info, power ratings, forecasts and more for every NFL team this season.
Public NFL advanced stats discourse and analysis has taken off in recent years, no doubt due to the work done by the individuals behind nflfastR and nflscrapR1. Standing on their shoulders I’ve been hosting an NFL analytics website complete with team forecasts, analytics and game predictions the past few years.

You’ll also find my team power ratings, projected wins as well as probabilities of making the playoffs, winning the division, the Super Bowl — and conversely — each team’s chances at nabbing the No. 1 draft pick next year2.
Let’s take a look at the predictions for the Week 1 regular season slate of games:
Other Notes
🔎 I wrote a preview of the 2024 NFL season last week. Check that out below:
📈 Also check out my NFL Win Probability Tool, an app that looks at win probabilities for each game throughout the season. It will start updating for this year during Week 1 of the regular season.
🏈 Lee Sharpe’s NFL Game Data Prediction Game. A new take on the old FiveThirtyEight contest that puts your forecasting skills to the test. I’m using the projections you see in the Predictions tab to see if I can beat the market and the crowds.
The folks include Ben Baldwin and Sebastian Carl who created the nflfastR package, as well as the founders of its predecessor nflscrapR: Maksim Horowitz, Ron Yurko, and Sam Ventura. There are several other contributors and maintainers of those packages that we’re indebted to as well.
Season simulations were done using the nflseedR package for R. The rest of the site was made possible by the amazing work of the aforementioned nflverse team, who have made programmatically analyzing NFL data easier than ever.
